Pretty Birds...

Hello Dear Ones.

The weather here in rural Missouri is splendid right now. The birds are singing, the gofer is nibbling on the sweet spring grass, the flowers are all afluter with new life.

I even had a surprise studio guest, a turkey came up to the carriage doors while I painted away. We freaked each other out and before I could get my camera ready, he was half way down the back 40, squaking away like I was trying to shoot him, which I guess I was, but with a camera rather than a gun!

He was thinking my velvet couch looked awfully comfortable, and he would be right.

This past weekend was our Gatsby Days in downtown Excelsior Springs. Every shop had at least one featured artist and everyone was dressed up, ready to dance the night away at the Hall of Waters Gin & Jazz party. On Saturday everyone was at the gallery painting. We sold paintings, booked private lessons, and a couple of more spots in Kat's Bohemian Paint Your Pet class going on next month.

Akira 24x24x1.5 acrylic on canvas. Available for $275 here in my shop You can also order prints in every size you may need in paper, canvas, or on metal!

I have new paintings being created daily and I'll be adding them to my shop as soon as I can. Right now I'm taking advantage of the breeze and going for a hike.

Be well my birds.
